HVAC in Lynnwood — What Local Homeowners Deal With
Lynnwood is one of the most densely developed cities in south Snohomish County, with a housing mix that ranges from 1960s ramblers near Alderwood Mall to newer condos along the Lynnwood Link light rail corridor. That diversity creates a wide range of HVAC challenges. Older homes often have aging gas furnaces with original ductwork that hasn't been touched in decades. Newer condos and townhomes frequently have no ductwork at all, making ductless mini-splits the only practical option. And with Lynnwood's proximity to Puget Sound, the marine climate means heat pumps perform exceptionally well here — often more efficiently than anywhere else in the county. We've been serving Lynnwood since 2005 and know the neighborhoods well: Meadowdale, Scriber Lake, Alderwood, and the Mountlake Terrace border. When you call, a real technician answers.

Are heat pumps a good choice for Lynnwood's climate?
Absolutely. Lynnwood's mild marine climate is ideal for heat pumps — they're highly efficient here because temperatures rarely drop below the range where heat pump performance degrades. Many Lynnwood homeowners see significant savings switching from electric resistance heat or an aging gas furnace.
